Tent Camping Site Rental
Camp Tomo Chi-Chi Knolls is adjacent to the Freeman Kame-Meagher Forest Preserve in northern Kane County and is specifically reserved for scouts and youth groups. Six tent camping sites will accommodate up to 25 campers each for a total of 150 youth campers. Firewood is provided. Groups may rent one or more of the sites. Rental fees are $25 per day/night per site for in-county groups; and $50 per day/night per site for out-of-county groups. If all six camp sites are rented by the same organization, use of the lodge is included at no additional charge.
Lodge Rental
In addition to tent camping, Camp Tomo Chi-Chi Knolls features a large, rustic lodge equipped with bathrooms, stove, refrigerator, tables and chairs and a wood burning fireplace. Lodge capacity is 100 people. Overnight use is permitted, however, no sleeping amenities are provided. Groups will need to bring their own cots or sleeping bags.
Lodge rental is $100 per day/night for in-county youth groups; and $150 per day/night for out-of-county youth groups. Use of the lodge is included for youth groups at no additional charge when an organization books all six tent camping sites.
Daytime rental of the lodge may be available to the public when camp sites are not previously booked. Daytime, public rental of the lodge is $150 for in-county, public groups; and $200 for out-of-county, public groups. Overnight rental is not permitted for public groups.
