Volunteers are needed to help us plant trees, collect seeds and clear brush at our National Public Lands Day event on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Dick Young Forest Preserve, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. For the tree-planting, holes are pre-dug. We'll need volunteers to tamp down dirt, water and mulch. It's easy! We'll also have seed collection, and brush-clearing groups. This event is great for families, scouts, groups or individuals. Groups of less than 10 do not need to register. Groups of 10 or more, call 630-762-2741 or e-mail us to RSVP. For more information, click HERE.
