This lovely oasis was originally designed c. 1909 by Japanese landscape architect Taro Otsuka as a private garden for George and Nelle Fabyan. The garden is open to the public on Wednesdays and Sundays from 1-4 and can be reserved for private tours at other times. Visitors can learn about Japanese Garden theory as well as Fabyan History or just enjoy the tranquil beauty of the garden. Saturdays are set aside for weddings as the garden proves to be a perennial favorite for ceremonies and photographs.
