Prairie Green

Description

This 40-acre parcel of land, acquired in 2002, adjoins both Saint Charles Park District and City of Geneva property, along Peck Road. It is part of the larger Prairie Green initiative to restore native prairie, enhance surface water quality and provide stormwater management in the Mill Creek watershed. The District has partnered with the City of Geneva and has added parking, a trail head, community gardens and a well to this site.
